Chris Charles started in the crane industry in 2008, quickly achieving his CPCS Slinger Signaller and CPCS Mobile Crane Operator qualifications and travelling across the country working for a number of leading crane hire companies.

He went on to earn his CPCS Lifting Operations Supervisor qualification and was then responsible for supervision on some of the biggest contract lifting sites in the UK. Chris then spent three years at Liebherr-Great Britain in a wide variety of roles, including delivering operator familiarisation on mobile and crawler cranes, project managing machine builds for some of the larger products in the Liebherr portfolio and teaching, testing and NVQ assessment. Throughout his career, he has been the go-to person for ex-colleagues and former customers, with many recommending ‘ring Chris first’. That breadth of knowledge combined with all the relevant qualifications, certificates and insurances provide the foundation for the launch of Chris Charles Lifting Services.
